Micro Weddings & Elopements
Small in size. Big on meaning.
There is no single right way to celebrate. Gather your closest people, keep it beautifully simple and make space for what matters most to you.
Wedding, Micro Wedding or Elopement?
What's the difference?
Every wedding can be personal and meaningful. The difference is the size of your celebration and how you choose to share it.
Wedding
A celebration of your love, shared with a wide circle of family and friends. You're the heart of the day, but you're also the hosts, so much of it is about making your guests feel welcome and part of it.
Micro wedding
Everything you love about a wedding, with a much shorter guest list. You're still hosting, but only for your favourite people, so there's more time with each of them and more room for the details you care about.
Elopement
Often just the two of you and your witnesses, an elopement keeps the focus on your promises and the moment you share.
Micro Weddings
A little gathering, a whole lot of love.
A micro wedding has the heart of a full wedding ceremony, just with a smaller guest list. You can still have meaningful vows, live music, photographs, a meal and all the personal touches you love.
Want to keep things even more intimate? An elopement might be just the two of you, your witnesses and the people helping bring the day together. I'll help you shape a ceremony that feels just as significant.
Eloping? The Your Ceremony package covers everything you need to be legally married, from the paperwork to the ceremony itself.

Why go smaller
More of what matters.
A smaller celebration isn't about doing less. It's about putting your time, energy and budget into the parts that mean the most to you.
More time with your people
With a shorter guest list, you're not rushing through hellos. You get real conversations with the people you love most.
Your budget, your priorities
A smaller guest list leaves more room for the things you truly value, like beautiful photographs, live music or a long lunch with your favourite people.
More places to say "I do"
A small group opens up venues and locations that couldn't host a big crowd, from a quiet stretch of beach to a favourite garden.
Witnesses, sorted
Every legal marriage needs two witnesses aged 18 or over. If you book both Keens and Molly, they can be your witnesses, so you won't need to arrange your own.
The Micro Wedding package
All the essentials, beautifully together.

Good to know
Your questions, answered.
How many people are usually at a micro wedding?
Micro weddings commonly have around 10 to 50 guests, with many couples choosing 20 to 30. It's a useful guide rather than a strict rule. An elopement is usually smaller, often just the two of you, your witnesses and a few loved ones.
Do we need a permit for a beach or park ceremony?
Some councils require a booking or permit for ceremonies in public parks and on beaches. It's worth checking with the council for your chosen spot early, and I'm happy to help you work out what's needed.
